- And mothers, children, brothers, sisters torn apart
- while tomorrow they die
- The millions cry
- my back up against the wall

- I can't close my eyes and make it go away

- Wipe your tears away / from your eyes

Bloody Sunday analyse chanson

Voici le résultat de l'analyse de la chanson par des élèves de 3è

I can't believe the news today he is shocked by what he saw on the news, so much violence is unbelievable
Oh, I can't close my eyes and make it go away
It is so horrible that he can't forget he's traumatized
(bridge): How long...How long must we sing this song? He's fed up with this everlasting conflict, he's getting impatient
How long? How long... '
cause tonight...we can be as one, tonight... He says that peace and the unity of the country are possible - we can do it
Broken bottles under children's feet Innocents are hurt whereas they didn't do anything , the children can also be the simple of the future generations growing up with a violent historyBodies strewn across the dead end street People died / were killed and couldn't escape - there is no way out of this deadly conflict / it is unfair
But I won't heed the battle call he doesn't want to fight or use violence
It puts my back up, puts my back up against the walls
he doesn't have a choice - he wants to cry out and act in his own way without using violence(chorus): Sunday, Bloody Sunday X 3
And the battle's just begun
There's many lost, but tell me who has won? It is useless to make war there is so much to lose and nothing to win , so far nobody as gained anythingThe trench is dug within our hearts people suffer because of the war / the conflict makes them feel sad / the conflit has been lasting for so long / the wounds are not healed yet
And mothers, children, brothers, sisters torn apart the families are broken/separated / members of the families were killed or are missing
Sunday, Bloody Sunday X 2
(bridge) + (chorus)
Wipe the tears from your eyes. Wipe your tears away, he wants people to be courageous and to stop crying
Oh, wipe your tears away X 2 (Sunday, Bloody Sunday)
Oh, wipe your blood shot eyes people have cried a lot and he is delivering a message of hope in the future
Sunday, Bloody Sunday X 3
And it's true we are immune People have become numb to violence. Watching television, it's hard to tell the difference between fact and fiction. He is openly accusing the media

When fact is fiction and TV reality
And today the millions cry we ignore the people who are suffering
We eat and drink while tomorrow they die
we should help the people and pay attention
(Sunday, Bloody Sunday)
The real battle just begun . To claim the victory Jesus won on... the real battle is for peace and love between the communities praying the same God
Sunday Bloody Sunday X2
